Zoe & Nick's Yorkshire Wedding - Little Vintage Photography
A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of shooting Zoe & Nick's gorgeous, laid-back wedding in North Yorkshire. I met Nick and his (two!) best men at Huddersfield Town Hall in the morning, capturing a few shots of the gents chatting and laughing together before the butterflies kicked in!

Zoe & Nick

A beautifully laid-back, rustic barn wedding in West Yorkshire with gorgeous handmade details, props from the Coronation Street set, a pop-up cocktail bar and 'Rosie' the Little Vintage Photography caravan photobooth!

About This Project

I recently had the privilege of shooting Zoe & Nick’s gorgeous, laid-back wedding in West Yorkshire. I met Nick and his (two!) best men at Huddersfield Town Hall in the morning, capturing a few shots of the gents chatting and laughing together before the butterflies kicked in!

Zoe’s sister and niece acted as Bridesmaid and Flower Girl, wearing lovely delicate chiffon dresses and when Zoe walked down the aisle… Wow! She looked absolutely stunning in her incredible column dress from Lovebird Brides and romantic, rural bouquet of blush roses by Lynne from Stems Design which also incorporated a special family heirloom keepsake.

After the ceremony we managed to squeeze some of the wedding party onto the steps outside the Town Hall for a bit of confetti throwing fun, followed by a few happy tears and hugs all round, then it was off to the afternoon venue in a beautiful Bentley driven by the couple’s friend Will.

The Woodhead Barn which forms part of Hepshaw Farm is also the base for the Woodhead Mountain Rescue team and was a perfect reception venue for the couple who had added a marquee, pop-up mobile bar from their friends ‘Those Four‘ and Little Vintage Photography’s very own ‘Rosie the Viking‘ vintage caravan photobooth.

Whilst the lovely food was being served by Eric’s Restaurant, I was able to capture some of the beautiful venue styling. Zoe and her Mum made all the table decorations, runners and individual jars whilst the table plan frame and easel, sofas, ‘LOVE’ light-up letters and the apple crates that were made into tables, all came from the Coronation Street props department courtesy of the couple’s friends.

After the food and speeches, the party really got going and the day ended with music and dancing in the barn from the New Orleans Wiggle Jazz Band and lots of instant analogue photography fun in the vintage caravan photobooth.

Thank you Zoe & Nick for being such a wonderful couple! It was a real pleasure to work with you on the day and to see your guests thoroughly enjoying themselves getting dressed up for the photobooth!
